Shayna MacDonald
Shayna MacDonald is a portrait, event photographer and videographer, specializing in lifestyle portraits and experiences. Shayna does not just photograph and film subjects, but also captures their relationships and emotions. From behind her lens she tells the stories of couples, students, families, children and friends. Shayna’s work is a direct reflection of the people, stories and places that inspire her. Based in Boston, Massachusetts Shayna and her team are ready to capture stories that you’ll look back upon fondly for years to come.
Shayna MacDonald has been passionate about the arts and education her entire life, delving first into painting and drawing when she was growing up in Connecticut. She expanded into other mediums when she discovered a passion for photography and videography at the age of twelve.
Shayna received her bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and Secondary Education from Emmanuel College in 2015. While teaching art at Boston-based middle schools, Shayna attended a graduate program for Educational Administration at Endicott College, receiving her Master’s degree in 2018.
When Shayna is not behind the camera or writing about herself in the third person, Shayna likes to travel anywhere her wallet will allow her, daydream about retiring at her lake house, continue to stay involved with the music industry and spend quality time with friends and family.
